HISTORY: Valerie grew up in a fairly stable environment. She was born an only child who her parents loved very much. Her father, Cesaire, was a woodcutter and her mother, Suzette, was a simple housewife. Valerie grew up with the love and devotion her parents gave her, but oddly enough, she didn't really connect with her parents. They weren't as creative as she was, they didn't have wonderful stories to tell her, adventures to send her on. The only person that did so, was her grandmother.
